Rhinestones & Roses: A Legacy Embroidered by Manuel

Inaugural “Manuel’s Rhinestones & Roses Jamboree” to Honor Fashion Icon
Manuel Cuevas and Launch Arts Scholarship Fund

Nashville, TN — A tribute as dazzling as the man himself, the inaugural Manuel’s Rhinestones & Roses Jamboree will take place Saturday, October 4, 2025, at a private ranchette near Nashville. This unforgettable event celebrates the life, artistry, and enduring influence of fashion legend Manuel Cuevas, known worldwide simply as Manuel.

Often called the “Rhinestone Rembrandt,” Manuel revolutionized American fashion and stagewear during a career spanning seven decades. His iconic designs have adorned music and film royalty—Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Raquel Welch, and James Dean among them. Manuel’s creative genius extended to more than 90 film wardrobes, 13 television shows, and the legendary insignias of The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead. He even designed garments for four U.S. Presidents.

The celebration will feature live music, down-home favorites from local food trucks, craft beverages, and heartfelt tributes, all reflecting Manuel’s signature flair and creative spirit.

While the full entertainment lineup is being finalized, we’re excited to announce three confirmed acts: Cutter & Cash and the Kentucky Grass, a phenomenal bluegrass band that has graced the Grand Ole Opry stage and earned standing ovations, and Victoria Jackson, comedian, actress, musician, and beloved alum of SNL’s classic era, and Pure Ronstadt, formerly Long Long Time, a reverent tribute to Linda Ronstadt led by former Sony Music Nashville recording artist Teresa, and supported by a seasoned band that captures the Pure Ronstadt sound.

The event will also launch the Rhinestones & Roses Scholarship Fund, an enduring legacy initiative supporting students pursuing careers in the arts.

Seven Mountains Media, including 96.7 BigFoot Legends and 106.3 The Beaver, is an early sponsor, offering promotional support across its broadcast platforms.

“We wanted this to be more than a tribute—it’s a legacy in action,” says event organizer Teresa Suber. “Manuel’s artistry has touched the world for decades, and this is our way of ensuring his influence continues—by empowering the next wave of young artists.”

Sponsorship opportunities are still available at a variety of tiers. Media inquiries and interviews may be directed to Teresa Suber.
